He need more muscle! The Legs from the back, the lats, not upper back but lats, and some more delt meat! He has tons of potential but lacks the thickness needed to win big shows.

Nothing new, but we all know the obstacles taller competitors face. I love Ced's look, but a guy of his height at 3 bills (offseason?) vs a guy of a more average (relatively!) height of 5'8 or 5'9 who actually gets onstage in condition around 270 (ie. Cutler) is a very different story for the judges.

Please mighty STU understand that weight is not EVERYHING in bodybuilding thanks.
Just remember Flex Wheeler 1993 Arnold Classic shape who weighted 218lbs and pretty much would beat anybody of our current era.
Remember Shawn Ray 208-214lbs
Remember Shawn Rhoden 3 rd place Olympia
Remember Kevin Levrone 4times Mr Olympia runner up
Remember Phil Heath Mr Olympia 4 times. Who does not weight crazy amount of weight.
Than understand that Cedric Shape, muscle bellies, roundness, proportion, grace and everything couple with some great conditioning could carry him at the top. ThanksDavid Cua also called Donald Pump known for "making bodybuilding great again" !

Oh I understand completely (been a competitor and judge for quite some time now thanks). I didn't mean actual scale weight here, although it's something a lot of people like to mention as if it's an indicator of perceived size on stage. And I am quite the fan of Ced's physique, BUT, as a tall man in the game, he will look drawn out against the shorter, thicker looking competitors... especially when he's not matching their level of conditioning on game day.

Ced mccmillan is soft in these pics. When he comes in shredded he looks small. He needs to just blow the fuck up and eat for 2 years. bottom line, he needs more muscle.

He looked great in Brazil, and could have easily been put ahead of Ramy

I dont think he's top heavy. It's all down to this silly 'new standard' that requires everyone to have Branch Warren legs. Cedric's legs are fine. Someone who had huge legs came round ,people liked it and all of a sudden overgrown legs are the standard? Ridiculous! Half the pros have overdeveloped legs if you ask me .Like If I was Max Charles I'd tell anyone who said my legs were underdeveloped to FOOK OFF.
