It ended up being a great card and more than any other night in UFC history, probably turned the top level of the sport on its head.
Connor: Too small for 170. He wasn't crisp and he wasn't in good enough shape. He was gassed after one round and his spinning kicks and punches were in slow motion and off form compared to what we're used to. I don't know if he'll ever see 145 again, but if he has it in him one more time, I'd like to see him give Edgar his shot. If he goes to 155 which I believe he will, I'd like to see the UFC make him fight a contender before Dos Anjos. Perfect world for Connor is he beats Edgar at 145 and fights Dos Anjos next at 155.
Meisha Tate: I called this one to all my friends and they thought I was crazy. I just had this gut feeling that she was going to pull the upset and fuck up all their big plans for the Rousey vs Holm rematch. That rematch may still happen, but it will probably be an eliminator for the right to fight Meisha.
Interesting night for sure. Can't wait for the Jones - Cormier rematch. If rust isn't an issue, and I don't believe it will be, I think Jones is going to stop Daniel this time. Cormier has been fighting ridiculous competition for 5 years now and his two fights with Jones and Gus may have taken its toll. It's one of those fights that I hate to see someone lose. They are two of my favorite fighters. I've always maintained that DC should have stayed at heavy as I feel he would not have been beat there. Now with Cain probably out of the picture there is no reason not to go up win or lose against Jones.

Conor is back! He will fight in January 2020, w/ the opponent not yet confirmed (but it's probably Donald Cerrone).
