Foam in Urine - Problem in kidneys or normal..?
Hi forum members,
Been working out in Gym on and off 3 yrs now, I have been noticing when I have chicken and brown Rice 4 times a day (total protein 150g/day) my urine colour is yellow and has a lot of foam. But when i eat just carbs there is no foam in urine. Is this normal..? Or is it just chicken digestion produces too much urea which causes the kidneys to release urine containing foam..? Am worried and confused plz help.

Question: Are you diabetic?
Foam can be caused from many sources. One is excess protein in the urine. If one is diabetic with high blood sugar, the kidneys may spill protein into the urine. Another reason for foam is excess sugar in your urine. Do you have a mold ring in the bowl? If so, there is excess sugar in your urine and would recommend having your A1C checked.Training and diet consulting available. Send me a PM.
