I was thinking a past Mr. O was selling it, but the seller has several championship NFL rings also. Dude is either selling fakes....or he buys these items off of professionals.
That sandow is listed as going for nearly $1,000,000. It doesn't look like anyone is up for the price yet.

I sent an inquiry via eBay and soon after they posted that they're not telling. lol
Someone said there was a Sandow listed on eBay in 2012 and 2013, too.
Thought perhaps it was from an estate sale. Larry Scott and Sergio Oliva have both passed, but I doubt Sergio's son would put any of his father's Sandows on the auction block.
For that matter, when did the Sandow become the trophy? Larry Scott received a crown but no Sandow, right? Or did he get one later on, like, retroactively?
Did Sergio get a Sandow?
(Googles, search string "first year sandow awarded")
Never mind.
Frank Zane was the first to receive the new Sandow award

Maybe it's a Sandow that was manufactured but never awarded... a back stock?
Does look cool, though.

I would buy it for Levrone, he deserves this either for 1995 or 2000 or 2002 Olympia

If this is legit , it kind of makes someone wonder if it was worth all the sacrifice? What winner could be that financially strapped for 10k?

For those that are asking if it's legit, yes it is.
I do not know who's it is though.
Obviously I know someone who knows the original owner and he confirmed it.CutlerAthletics.com

I guessed Ronnie Coleman earlier, but it could easily be Frank Zane.
No disrespect here either, but both men could possess that attitude of "Why is this thing here collecting dust?"
And there's also the story of Zane smashing his 1980 trophy in a parking lot after Arnold won. If that's true then it's difficult for me to imagine he has a room filled with his blue ribbons.
Zane's got to be 70 now and with a much different mindset from age 30 or 40?
Otoh...
No idea when that was taken, though.

Maybe Dorian was giving his back from 1994 or 1997?
