i wanna see everyone succeed and make money! We're all in this together. There's plenty of customers for all the companies out there. With regard to Dimaggio and Singerman, the court will determine who's right or wrong..........and who has the right to whatever. But the fact remains, that Louis was made to look like a bad guy and terrible friend......and that's simply not the case. He reached out to Aaron and PJ before it was escalated to a point where lawyers were needed.....and he was shut down. So, whatever Singerman is saying about Louis not having the respect to call him first, is a lie. The sad part of this whole scenario is that once upon a time, Aaron, PJ, Louis, and I were all good friends. Aaron allowed business to come between all his friendships. Louis and I are still friendly to this day despite the fact that he no longer works for RxMuscle/Species.

Prime Nutrition – Innovators or Copycats?
All Articles
June 30, 2015 A+ A- Share on emailEmail Share on printPrint
In the world of bodybuilding and fitness supplements there are literally hundreds of brands on the market to choose from. There is not much that separates the majority of these brands other than their packaging and the bodybuilding and fitness pros they pay to endorse their lines.
Prime Nutrition, a Florida based supplement company that was started by Aaron Singerman and PJ Braun in 2013 is not much different. They have a typical “main stream” product line up that consists of BCAA’s, EEA’s, Creatine, Glutamine, fat burner, waterloss, sleep aid, stimulants, and various other products using generic formulas. There really is nothing unique that sets Prime Nutrition apart from literally hundreds of other main stream supplement brands out there today.
As in most industries in order to succeed you have to be creative and innovative and some how set yourself apart from the pack. Prime Nutrition has a slogan they use “The Best or Nothing”, pretty catchy huh? Well unfortunately they were not the first company to use it. As I was doing my cardio on the stair-stepper I caught a Mercedes Benz commercial and noticed they had a slogan and I knew I had heard it before. See below.
In the summer of 2010 Mercedes Benz launched a new ad campaign using the slogan “The Best or Nothing”, the exact same slogan that Prime Nutrition uses. Mercedes Benz also trademarked the slogan in January of 2012. Mercedes Benz is currently running a new “The Best or Nothing” campaign as shown in the latest commercial below:
I don’t know if using the exact same slogan as Mercedes Benz was intentional on Prime Nutrition’s part, but either way they would have known this since they also filed a trademark application on the slogan in September 2014. If it were me I think at that point I would have changed it to something unique. Interestingly the application was not filed under Prime Nutrition, LLC, it was filed under a company named Singerman & Braun LLC., which seemed odd to me, one would think they would want the company slogan trademarked under the entity using it.
Now that I have exposed Prime Nutrition is using the Mercedes Benz slogan will they try and come up with their own unique slogan, or keep using Mercedes Benz’s trademarked slogan? And then you have to wonder if a company as big and prestigious as Mercedes Benz would take concern if they found out someone ripped off their slogan? Granted they are in two very different industries, but Mercedes Benz is a known brand worldwide by just about everyone in the civilized world.
As I was searching trademarks I discovered that the name Prime Nutrition itself is not even original. There is a record of another company named Prime Nutrition, Inc. filing a trademark application including their logo with this exact name in June of 1997, eventually it was canceled in January 2006, I assume they went out of business. You can see their logo below.
Interesting article. . . .I remember one of their first shirts was something like
"The hardcore holy grail" of supplements .....sound familiar ?
