I don't understand what Dave is doing. It does not show a lot of concern for those of us that help him manage the forums or its members to deal with his shit all over again. Maybe the members will show the same lack of concern for this crap and just go somewhere else.

Real journalists do not use CAPITALIZATION to get their point across. But then again, this is not real journalism.

I apologize to you, Mac. You do a damned good job on Dave's and Rx's behalf. I hope no one leaves because of Duque's return. Look at it this way, those who enjoy his articles benefit and those who don't also benefit by way of laughing over the content and his apparent seriousness about being tall. o.O

I'm definitely done deleting negative comments about him. If anything goes missing, look elsewhere because it wasn't me. And I doubt it will be you either.

Why was the thread cleaned up? What CD did on the forums needs to be known.

I moved some of the posts to this thread just because it seemed to fit.

But it looks like the storm will follow Duque wherever he's mentioned.

Still haven't read his Lobliner commentary. But I'm not surprised he apparently made short jabs and used all caps. lol

I haven't seen some overwhelming joy posted in response to the welcome back thread. There have been very few, what, I count two positive comments there. And that from people who weren't the focus of Duque's discontent.

The forums still have so much to offer. There's camaraderie to be found in having a common enemy. Make Duque the Lex Luthor. lol Every superhero needs a good villain, right?

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I thought Christian's article was well thought out, well written and make very valid points. By nature, we all love to be revolutionaries and a good majority of the people are complete conspiracy theory junkies. But the plain truth is that while not every decision is in bodybuilding seems fair, the majority are indeed correctly made.

Calling out the number one bodybuilding and fitness organization in the world (NPC/IFBB) is really easy to do. They have a bulls eye painted on their head. But I have news for you. I've prepped bodybuilders who were 100% natural for life and I've seen these supposed "natural organizations" claim these athletes "failed the polygraph test" and refused to allow them to compete. One guy was a bantamweight at 143lbs and the organization head said his "test" was inconclusive. Ironically, his main competition in the show (a competitor he would have easily beat) was best friends with the promoter of the show.

So, do favors and politics sometimes come into play (in any organization)? Of course. It's a "judged" sport. But when viewed as a whole, we're damn lucky to have such a solid organization to compete under (even if I don't always get press passes).

Lobliner was pissed off by the email he received from a former client letting him go. That's understandable. He should consider himself lucky that the competitor actually emailed him and told him the truth about why he wasn't using him. I'm sure we all have lost client/athletes over the years and never knew why. Lobliner will calm down and eventually, one day, will want to compete in the NPC again. It's inevitable.

Dave I think the problem isn't the content but the repeated slaps to the face to Marc as well as the obvious bias. The article can do without the personal insults.

I find it disrespectful that Dave brought this guy back, despite his threats to me and others. It's a big slap in the face. A huge, fuck you. He doesn't care about his members.

It's not about blackmail, it's about integrity, and it's about choosing not to support a business owner that conducts himself in this manner.

Does anyone actually ever hold Ron Avidan personally responsible for the wild posts or tenor of debate at his getbig.com site? Surely the site could be moderated differently to rein in some of the craziness, but it seems tailored to produce just what ya get. I don't see much difference here.
CD as with Singerman, Romano, etc drive traffic and Dave is focused on that NOT what todays crop of site volunteers, past loyalists, etc think.
In fact, from a corporate perspective an actual board of directors might look at the current crop of posters and think it better for business if everyone leaves and the entire site go in a different direction.
Those that can provide more provocative content to draw traffic might should provide it up or approach Dave with their ideas versus merely lobbying for the status quo IF this is just business and not an actual virtual family, democracy, etc as some are implying.

As for your suggestion I'm a racist I'll say the group of people I trust least is white people like you. Its far easier to be down with a brotha, latinos and a variety of Asian folks than a white man who will typically smile in your face in stab you in the back. Of course, this is the perspective of a guy who grew up in the hood and still lives there honky.
