I've had a nose job as a twenty-year-old. A simple fix to a problem I perceived. But just imagine if the problem you perceive goes beyond a nose or a jawline or your teeth?

I can't imagine living each day with something so core, so fundamental to a life, being upside-down. Imagine being a woman or a man on the inside but the opposite to those who view you on the outside. And then compound that by being applauded for the very characteristics you're at issue with.

Why would you spend all those years, all the money and so on into breaking world records, world records that your true self wouldn't be able to break either natural or juiced? Not that I would have something against steroids or something, but there is some level of hypocrisy from his part as well.

On the other hand, I am happy he had finally chosen to make this step, because it must be really hard to live a life you're not comfortable with. However, from my point of view, he shouldn't have fooled so many people.

This is what I always say when someone gets on their soapbox about choosing to "sin" and "be gay". I didn't choose to like men, I JUST do. I do not like women - and I know some SERIOUSLY hot women, but I don't want to sleep with ANY of them.
