When DLB was given the cover people were posting shit like crazy. Negative shit and Blechman came on and gave some statement about her fans and shit like that. Havent seen ANY signs of DLB on MD. I think she is having a Q&A in the mags or something. With Shawn you either love him or hate him.

MD dropped Justin because he was too timid to take the next step. MD hyped him so much that Justin developed a big head and thought he was Mr. Untouchable. After he qualified (a second time in a row) for the Olympia, and still refused to compete, MD had enough, realizing Justin thinks they're working for him. Justin believed he had so much clout that he could take another year off, continue to get paid while training at his leisure, no longer under the strain of hardcore dieting or the pressure of needing to compete and place well.
Unfortunately for Justin, his luck ran out as MD realized they don't have another year to wait around while he takes another vacation to settle his nerves and build up the courage to compete. Therefore, DLB was signed in hopes of righting to ship. It's a huge gamble but desperate times call for desperate measures.
Compton was surprised to say the least when the hammer was finally dropped and he's now realizing the opportunities lost. He lost his MD contract. He could have been making his second consecutive showing at the Olympia this year, giving the judges the familiarity they need to consider him as having "paid his do's". Justin must think he's so good at this point, that he will be able to bypass traditional BB politics and rise to the top in his first showing. That, or he simply does not believe they exist.
Justin Compton is getting a wake up call and a reality check all in one.

I wonder if Justin skipped the O due to health issues. I mean, why else would he skip a show like the Olympia at this point in his career? The dude had crazy momentum behind him?
I'm not giving him him shit for doing so, of course.

I read BMC's thread on No Bull that the new MD with Jay Cutler on the cover (way to promote the guys who you cut, Blechy!) did in fact have the much-anticipated debut of the DLB column. A whopping three-question Q&A that left Mike limp.
So much for the big ticket item.

I was expecting like a 5 page article at least. No DLB fan will buy that magazine for 2 pages. They can read that at Barnes and Noble and not but the magazine. Listen, I don't know shit about ROI and mag sales, but the DLB signing seems to not make sense. She isn't competing at the O, she has no mention of MD on her IG account and she doesn't post (she did like ONCE, and Rob has a few times). I get the not posting bc you get some real assholes, but what does she bring to the table?

DLB would be better off hanging up the posing suit and concentrate on making money with Rob and their magnetic personalities. People love them and they are marketing themselves properly without even needing a stage to stand on. Their "stage" is even bigger than the Olympia one.
If I had her working with my magazine, the plan would be one that used their popularity as a third party almost. I'm not going to give my competition a formula that I feel would work, but all I have to add to this is that MuscleSport Magazine reached out to the Baileys before the MD cover was announced and we wanted to shoot both of them together for a cover feature and possibly more. But they politely declined the offer and said perhaps another time. About a month later, the MD cover was announced, so that was already in the can (due to publishing schedules).
