That being said, have you had Shingles yet? since you've had chicken pox you have a 1 in 3 chance of getting an outbreak... Here's a heads up, I had a case when I was in the military at the age of 24.

I scratched at the lumps for a couple days, applied calamine lotion thinking they might have been insect bites etc. Thing is, although they itch like crazy, it's not a surface level itch; it feels like a deep itch underneath the skin that you can't get to and can't alleviate; its the virus in the nerves that causes it. Good luck scathing it.

Finally went to the hospital when the bumps were not drying out. They immediately identified the red spots on my chest/abdomen as shingles (they only appear on one side of the spinal cord). Prescribed some viral medication and percocet.

Percocet was the only good thing about the experience. I played up the whole I'm extremely contagious role to my roommate, who made sure to vacate the room for days, lol; had the room to myself. I looked forward to every one of those percocet pills and just chilled in the barracks for about 3-4 days -good times.

Most people don't get Shingles until they are middle age or older. In my case it was probably do to a lot of stress that brought the early onset. Both physical and mental stress can trigger the virus into action in those who have had chicken pox, usually in their childhood. Haven't had it since and I'm glad I had the outbreak at a young age, as once you've had a shingles outbreak it's not likely to occur again.

Agreed. If I trained arms 100% they might be out of proportion. My chest, hams and low back have to get much better
