That style used to be fresh....when he started doing it in the 90's. After all of these years of it tho, it doesn't make hims stand out as much.


But that is how he literally paid the bills for decades (dancing on one stage or another) so it is likely all he has up his sleeves at this point.

Maybe, he's in his 40's now...time to give it up. He competes poplocking against 10 year old boys on stage. For them it's "cool", for him....

It made those boys day, I bet.

As a teen, Ron Teufel called me up on stage to introduce me as an artist and show a drawing I had done of him. I made 50 or so photocopies which he offered to autograph for fans. He autographed the original and gave me a t-shirt. I'll never forget that event.

The kids who got to dance or perform with Greene probably feel the same way. Or maybe it was nothing to them. But the gesture showed Greene's character.

It's an affliction. Not hip. Just a thing for correct spelling. I'm certain it goes back to my one and only appearance in a spelling bee. Sixth grade, misspelled argument as arguement.

The kids have an excuse to break dance (age/youth/immaturity) Kai on the other hand does not.

By placing myself in Kai's shoes and looking back at how ridiculous I would feel it had been me, prancing around like a girl (twerking) on stage and break dancing as a 40 year old man.

Not naming any names but someone on another site made the comment that Kai is actually just being "self indulgent" as opposed to "artistic" in his weird posing routines...I can't say I disagree with that statement.
