What keeps you motivated?
I know that most of us are fired up to go train.* All our friends are at the gym, all of the hardbodied girls are there.* We are fired up MOST of the time.* But as we all know, life happens.* Things come up.* But we can't take any days off.* My question is this.* What motivates you on those days when you just do NOT feel like going to the gym?* What makes you grab your gym bag and make that trip even if you are tired?* What makes you lift even when you have a shitstorm going on in your personal life?* How about when you are injured?* What makes you wrap up and keep going?* There are no right or wrong answers.* I am hoping that we can help motivate each other to be the absolute best that we can be.*
Greetings from Mexico!

Well, I recently quit hitting the gym, but when I use to go on the regular, my motivation was the natural endorphin's I suppose. Even if I was tired or didn't feel like training on certain days, I knew that after the workout, the increased blood circulation, pump, and endorphin kick would help to alleviate stress and add to future gains.
Then I realized, after about one month of not lifting, much of the gains fade anyway...vanity, vanity, it's all VANITY!Last edited by kSwiZZLe; 09-08-2015 at 10:05 AM.

its more of an artistic thing for me...I don't have training partners or really care to impress or look at anyone when I'm training..i zone out...kinda like painting or building something to display at a later time...ive never actually taken any time away since I was 15 except for now but I'm down with an Achilles then a clot on the lung...cant wait to train again

I honestly haven't gotten a straight answer from my doctors about training at all...they kinda stutter and stumble around the question...I know I can't train how I typically do until the doppler comes clean and I'm off the thinners, from what I've gathered from my research...I need to keep still and get healthy hahaa
