Maniacal we should launch our line too ! What do you think about "Direiro Supplement" , the best quality supplements with the best ingredients out there.

We will formulate our own products. There will be no fillers, no gimmicks or chemical stuff added only raw potent ingredients that works. No stim no nothing.

Their cost will be high, but we will chase a niche. People that do care about what they put into their bodies.

I already have a name for our Pre-workout concoction : "Maniacal Pump" !
Guys it only takes one scoop of MP to be pumped up like balloons.

    Because I like him.

I don't like or dislike Norton. Just very unfamiliar with him. What I do remember is his pec tear video from whenever.

We've all seen monstrous black and blue pec/shoulder/ribcage injuries, right? Well, Norton had to have an MRI to detect his tear. Hey, whatever.

How does unknown amount differ from proprietary blend?

Did you even bother to listen to the periscope?
He even mentioned about 10 times there are 0 prop blends.
He just did not reveal the amounts in the short periscope presentation of his line. They will be fully outlined on the supplement label when it is released.

If it was a prop blend almost all ingredients would not be known because it would be thrown into one large mix of say 10g or 7.7g

For example a non-prop blend like what you see on his line this is from Core Fury

This is what a prop blend is

Take 20 minutes and listen to the periscope and it will explain everything you just asked before jumping to conclusions.

There is some great info at the end on ingredients he did not use and why.

^ A article just potsed about it on his BCAA

And the article on his non-stim pre-workout:

    http://www.stack3d.com/2015/09/carbon-prep-preview.html

Carbon Prep including 6g of citrulline malate,
    2.5g betaine,
    1g carnitine l-tartrate, and
    creatine monohydrate

As for the remaining five features we know of, three are nootropics, with the other two being things you won’t find in your typical pre-workout. Rounding out the list is rhodiola, huperzine A, alpha GPC, astragalus and 450mg of cocoa powder

    and:

The details we know of so far are that Carbon By Layne Norton will be exclusive to BB.com, a lot like CT Fletcher’s supplement series. The products are of course going to be 100% transparent with no proprietary blends.

    http://www.stack3d.com/2015/09/carbon-by-layne-norton-intro.html

Just like it was stated in the picture on the first page on the lid

And he quoted it right in the periscope
2 of them are Glutamine and Beta-Alanine, and he has his research and reasoning behind it
Glutamine mostly for gut health, no research backs muscle building
no carbs in either because its cheaper to add your own instead of putting it into the product
Beta-Alanine for the cost not worth the small endurnace/recovery benefits.

Seem to remember Dave saying oral glutamine was not that effective as well. Interested as to why creatine is in the pre rather than the post but I'm sure Layne thought that out. Interesting about the carbs. I like ordering the Post JYM dextrose for convenience but whose to say that there aren't more affordable sources.

Nope. And not especially inclined to.

Best of luck to Norton all the same.
