A lot of people forget that Lou Ferrigno also went to the WBF right before it ended. When he was told there would be drug testing at what was to be their last show (due to the then-WWF's steroid investigation and subsequent trial), Lou balked.

Didn't he win a Masters Olympia after that? And he has never been blackballed by his lateral move.

Im surprised more hasnt been said about Rockells involvment.....he was THE head judge of the olympia for so many years.....However, im a little closer to the issue, i have worked out at Rockells gym in Rochester NY for past 15 or so years and his passion for bodybuilding has never changed but his feelings on the direction of bodybuilding has. he has been very vocal on his opinions on facebook and his views of AAS in the sport. i feel he has always been a stand up guy but teaming up with Lee and keeping it quiet was prolly very smart.

What can you tell us? Why did he get banned? I heard he started his own small organization.

I can't say for sure, I personally was surprised on his involvement with global. He has been vocal about the direction of bodybuilding for awhile. His departure from the ifbb was never fully let out but from my understanding he stepped down on his own accord. This past year Mr.Rochester (his long time NPC qualifier) was renamed and made a natural show. I feel Jim's actions are along the lines of lowering/eliminating the use of AAS across all the divisions. As far as particular details, that's something I don't have but I'm sure he would go on heavy muscle radio and talk. He has been on it before....

Dave has to be careful who he invites and the subjects he covers. But I'd certainly like to interview him. If the drugs are minimized or eliminated maybe they won't be the best anymore.

The Jets didn't ban me and I'm back in the MetLife Stadium press box this season.

That's how it supposed to work. Professionalism is not part of the agenda in bodybuilding.

Exactly.The Ifbb should be confident enough in their product that they don't worry about other upstart organizations.
