Since you're bringing back the old crew. wasn't there a guy named "Nick the Stick"? I fell off of here for a while so not sure if there was any bad blood there.

Oh, and on the original question, I'll second Curt's posting of:
-Bros v Pros events. Always fun.
-Training seminar events. I've attended two of Dave's Q&A Sessions at the Apollon Gym. Great times!
-Meet and greets or any opportunity for members to interact in person. Food eating contests, etc.
Sadly, my work schedule didn't allow me to make the last Bros Vs. Pros event though I live in Suffolk but I'd like to try to make the next.WNBF Pro Bodybuilder

John you should start
posting more in general
putting up more articles like you did about NPC Global
Be on RXMuscle programs weekly(RX Muscle website or YouTube )
Really just be more active in the RX Muscle community people like hearing your opinion on things
Dave should start
Interview more male bodybuilders because it's seems like he always has some female athlete on...no diss towards the female competitors but the men are just more popular
Have more day in the life type shows of athletes
Maybe have a nutrition type show
Put up more training segments
Have some interviews with the legends of the sport
Interview popular you-tubers
Have a show showcasing amateur bodybuilders

They need to recruit more people from social media, plain and simple. Look at all the sites that continue to be successful, and they all have a strong social media presence.. hell, Gear'd up was built solely on social media.
It was fine when RX started and people followed you here from MD, you already had that following. But when you're looking to draw in new crowds, how are you going to be directing them here? A lot of the people I tell about this place has no clue it even exists.
You need someone young and fresh to bring the bodies over. It is what it is.

Contest coverage was, is and will continue to be the best way and with timely upload of the images to the galleries and play by play. A quarter or more of competitors on the NPC stage at any given level show are first timers to the sport or first timers at that show. That's all potential new traffic to capture.

Competitors are great to have here, true, but for every competitor there is 25 fans who don't really care to compete but just like following bodybuilding because they like lifting and they are interested in the "sport". To limit yourself to contest coverage (which costs money) is absurd when there are numerous social media outlets out there that you can use every day for free to direct people to your site. That coupled with the fact that there are far more people on social media than on shows speaks volumes.

Point was not to put all the eggs in one basket, but rather to acknowledge the obvious that contest participants are worth targeting when supposedly trying to attract new people interested in bodybuilding.
A problem with drawing people proficient in building an audience on social media is they don't need a vbulletin forum to create a return on their invested time in posting. Such people realize if they can post a video like Piana did the other day and get nearly a million views on youtube in one day he doesn't need to essentially work for Rx building traffic here. Same with Michelle Lewin sorts that can get hundreds of thousands of views a day for content posted on her social site. It would get a fraction of that posted here. So why would they do it? You would likely have to pay them.
People that post on forums are a small percentage of those that actually visit. To date BrandX proves to be the most proficient with around half a million views on their Olympia thread. That's viewership build on high quality contest coverage.

I miss the play by play which was filmed live and in person as the show was going on! Those were great! I sat and watched and listened for HOURS! Great commentators who really knew their stuff, including Ruthless Ruth, etc.. etc...etc... I really miss those. Now I am watching shows and wondering "Where are the commentaries?" It takes forever to get a video up!
I love the current shows. They should not change. Love Heavy Muscle Radio, Iron Debate, Ask Dave. Would love a running schedule when to look forward to what show during the week.
Dennis James, Chris Aceto, John, Dave, Sid, and others are all super fantastic. Don't change a thing with Iron Debate! Even Greg Valentino is great to have on.
The stupid Duque duck guy needs to be blocked. He is a bully and makes me not wanting to respond on The Forum at all.

Get rid of this dank dark black page it's unappealing and not cool or badass. Also over moderated although some may disagree.
