I won't throw any names out there myself but I would love to comment on some being mentioned. Mike L and Freeman are both established pros that are at the 'end of the bench,' to use a sports term, in the IFBB. They would be interesting names but neither possesses that 'wow' factor.
Thompson is merely trickling some names out now with these posts but would anyone be surprised if on November 8 there are multiple shockers?

I don't really expect much "Wow" factor. Do people know that Dr. J came from the ABA before it merged with the NBA?
Also do the masses know that Jim Manion worked for the AAU before he started the NPC? Bet they didn't know that!Gone but not forgotten, I remember you too Dookie!

A lot of superstars were from the ABA - George Gervin, George McGinnis, Moses Malone, Connie Hawkins, Artis Gilmore, as well, and even Larry Brown.
Part of the interview that I did with Lee Thompson touched on the fact that Jim Manion broke away from not only the AAU, but also the union that was behind it, to form the NPC. And no one gave him any shit for it and he was lauded as a genius. (The AAU was Bob Hoffman's old organization.)
If the names we spoke about do in fact join NPC Global, there will be plenty of wow factor to be spread around the different categories, not just men's bodybuilding.

I could see Freeman leaving. Make a few bucks before its time to retire. But if he gets someone in that top 5 at the O or a DLB, he will be in business. I emailed Lee and asking about some shows down here in Florida.
