As far as the heading of this thread, it just means his pride withstands his greed for a company paying him x amount in order to lie. Yes pride is a big factor and yes you can also use the word integrity to describe this situation

Different philosophies on how to market. Lots of things were promised that were never delivered upon, they made some videos saying how they were going to do things differently from other companies but then their actions were very different from what they said.

And there's no statement for Jewbacca or Bj? :P Evan is not really updating his profile. So i think vegan lifestyle doesn't really pay off. I like this guy a lot but as a non-meat eater he has no chance in Ohio.

Aaron already spoke about on Project Bodybuilding. Evan's holistic lifestyle was never going to catch on because he hasn't fully embraced the lifestyle....meaning getting off the steroids and being an active participant. I'm from Asheville, NC and a licensed naturopath so I knew that from the start.

When I lived in town, I worked at the Food Co-Op, went to coffeehouses and listened to shitty hippie poetry, went to art showings, and doing drum sessions out in the woods while smoking weed. Even if he did that, he would still need to drop a ton of size as he would just get laughed at. That's how it works

Sorry, but this thread is a load of crap....Thinking Evan didn't know what the company goals were before he got involved with them is naïve. Especially since he had long standing relationships with the principals. I'm sure they would have helped him develop his own line if he had wanted to go in that direction and it was feasible from a business perspective.

I'm not hating on the guy, the few times I met him he was very nice and he is a top class bodybuilder. But don't try to kiss his ass. His pride certainly didn't prevent him from cashing any checks... he wants to march to beat of his own drum, more power to him....but don't expect everyone to just form a drum line....

I highly doubt the company gave ev a policy and procedure, or rules and regulation manual. They promised him x amount and told him he was their main man. Then they must have flipped the script on him
