Ben Loehrer is not a teen, but he won the overall NPC Teen Nationals.

Gary Udit clearly lists the shows rules on his website:

Teens
Teen Bodybuilding, Teen Figure, Teen Bikini and Teen Fitness competitors must be 19 years of age and under as of the date of the contest and must submit proof of age with entry.

On the day of contest, Ben Loehrer was 20 years old. According to his facebook page he admits that his date of birth is July 8th, 1989!

I knew his competing in the Teen class wasn't going to go over well. Especially since it's right there in the rules.

LOL. That's a little extreme. But I think the guys who competed against Ben should voice their opinion...if they even feel wronged by it. I'd like to hear from somebody who competed against him.

How is that extreme? I'd be very hesitant to compete in a show where rules can be bent for certain people!

It's extreme because the promoter hasn't had a chance to explain himself yet. And if his explanation is shitty...well, then I can understand boycotting the show.

I'm really surprised and disappointed that this guy would compete in this class, knowing the rules and knowing how old he was gonna be. It doesn't speak well to his character even if he got the go-ahead from the promoter. He should have waited till the rules were re-defined or SOMETHING.

Don't believe everything you read on FaceBook. It's full of inaccuracies. Someone needs to come forward & clarify the birthdate issue so it can be laid to rest.
