Interesting. So, I assume that you think Uriah McGree should be disqualified and badmouthed as well since he competed in the middleweight class while allegedly weighing 183, giving him a 7 pound advantage over his competitors.

Its a morality issue, It doesnt matter If the promoter said it was fine. Rules are Rules, even if he was an hour past the limit of age, Its still the rules. Ben knew what the rules were and he chose not to abide by them.

I would like to here you opinion of the Uriah McGee situation as well.

Ben never broke the rules. He was following the amended rules.

A 20 year old is not a kid. He is a grown man. Just because the promoter does not have a conscience doesn't make it any more excusable for Ben to follow suit. He obvioulsy thought NOTHING of his opponents, all who abided by the rules.

IMO... the gh gut, back CRATORS, and over all physique was not impressive, and john izzary the runner up looked far better. congrats on the DESERVED win to John.

o yea... thissssssssssssss was funny too. he even lied in the interview. he knew what he was doing the whole time. he knew that he was wrong, otherwise he woulda admitted to Dave that he was not 19.. or at least said i turned 20 a week ago.... instead he still played the Teen card. New member and first time poster here. I am from Ben's adopted home state of Minnesota and met/saw him at the NPC Gopher State in early June, so I have an additional interest in this topic. As a newbie, I'm curious: What are the consequences to the promoter on this? A bunch of "guilt" lies at his feet, IMHO. Ben lost his title, what does Udit lose? Or is he too tight with the NPC?

He asked Gary Udit to compete and Gary Udit amended the rules.

Gary Udit knew how old Ben was and allowed him to compete.

On the day of contest, Ben Loehrer was 20 years old. According to his facebook page he admits that his date of birth is July 8th, 1989!

Looks like facebook has claimed another victim. I tell yah I don't even know why people put all their info on that crap. What is the purpose I'm suprised they don't display people SS#'s on there.
