IF he does it, he will win, or worse case be 2nd. If hes 2nd he will probably retire.

Well, if he retires then he probably won't place top 3... unless he retires now, makes a tearful video that he wants to do the show but he's not allowed to for reasons he can't say, then comes out of retirement in March and competes as the heroic underdog fighting the system.
