I was asked for an autograph once and I actually pulled out Thor's hammer and smashed the guy into particle dust. Since there was nobody left to press charges...I got off clean...

I've known Pawan (the guy who wrote this story) for nearly two years, his coach is Jasen Kohli and he is a competitive bber himself, and he's definitely not making shit up. He originally posted the story in our group on facebook because he was not sure whether to make a public post about it or not, because well it does seem farfetched. Pawan doesn't bullshit about these things lmao he has no reason to lie. His friends were doing 'double deadlifts' - (where two ppl deadlift on one bar simultaneously) when Evan said that they were 'dicking around', despite them having paid the guest fee to workout there, and that Evan could have easily just allowed Daniel to work in with him instead of use the rack Pawan and his friends were using. It was completely out of line for Evan to act that way, and considering Pawan was the only non caucasian one present and that he is gay, I'm thinking that was something about him that gave him a bad look in Evan's eyes.

Conclusion...Dicking around. I was doing a chest workout the other day.I went to the flat bench area, did 3 warm up sets and only after I had done my 3rd working set did the 180lb-ish kid who I had found on the bench next to mine get down and do a set of 6 with 120lbs ,which wasn't to failure either. I did 2 more sets and left him sat there staring into space having only done the single set. Now if that was the only bench in the building, or if all the others were real I certainly wouldn't, even worse if he was monkeying around .

Since Meadows confirmed some sort of altercation took place it's actually irrelevant if they were "dicking around" or not. What matters is if Centopani physically hit him or not.

Evan Centopani responded on the MD forums
"First and foremost, I want to thank my friends, fans and supporters who have shown that a solid reputation built over the course of many years overshadows the allegations of one individual. In the wake of the circulating rumors and speculation regarding an alleged incident at my home gym, never has the importance of standing up for what I believe in and acting in accordance with those beliefs been so apparent to me. Anyone who knows me; be it well or simply in passing, is aware of my commitment to represent myself and the sport of bodybuilding in a positive manner. To me, this has always meant sticking up for what I know is right, opening my mouth if need be and defending my position and my person. Simply put, I respect those deserving of respect and unless proven otherwise I believe*everyone*is deserving. To that end, I have made it my career-long mission to go out of my way to help people, share knowledge and act in accordance with the greater good. That said, it is unfortunate that there are individuals out there who will stop at nothing in an effort to intentionally damage my reputation. While I refuse to do the same in response, I am confident that those who have read these allegations will see them for what they really are.
In closing, I again want to thank everyone for their continued support and loyalty. Please know that I refuse to give any further life to this."

Sounds to me like someone mouthed off to someone thinking that someone wouldn't retaliate in fear of damaging his reputation. If I'm correct then hats off to Evan.

Here's part of it that address the race part:
MuscleSport Magazine reached out to Centopani, as well as co-owners of the Powerhouse Gym Darin and Jerry Montanari without receiving a reply. MSM contacted Lapborisuth, who wanted to clarify the part of his post about race.
“Both of my friends that were there with me were white, but I do not want to blame race as I was the one voicing out that we had the right to use the equipment as much as he did and it was probably that he overheard me more than because of who I am,” he explained. Lapborisuth further stated that he did not sustain any physical injuries.
We contacted the New Haven Police Department and were informed that the report was for “assault/fight” with no physical injury listed and the responding officer did not perform a preliminary investigation because the complainant (Lapborisuth) had stated at that time that he did not wish to press charges.
