What podcasts do you do/edit?
are you certified in NSCA? If so how hard was it to pass that test to get a PT Cert? Looking to get one myself.2013 & 2014 RX Member of the Year

I co-host TFR podcast, its part of the website and business my biz partner Erik and I have run for almost 2 years now. trainfightrecover.com is our site and links to the podcast are there also.
I have my NSCA CSCS, CPT, TSAC-F yes. I also have been an NSCA member since 2004. I also sit on the MO State board as well as board member for the special interest group of the NSCA bodybuilding and fitness competitors group with the likes of Brad Schoenfeld among others. We have a private facebook group for that as well.
The exams were not terribly hard but exams of CP based testing have never been hard for me either. I also had 1 year of college phys and anatomy and biomech under my belt when I took the CPT test and a 4 year degree complete when I did the CSCS. I was one of the first 100 people to take the TSAC-F exam as well which was IMO the more detailed of the 3 exams/certs to get.
If one was versed in basics of training, programming, exercise technique from personal experience and then read the text, did the practice test, they would do well on the exam I feel. Any college course background on top would be even better.Last edited by Joshua H; 10-16-2017 at 10:32 PM.

What cert would you think I should go for. Just to get one, and make sure I have one to start training people? I started to study for NASM but the test was godly hard.

I am addmittedly biased but none the less, I would go NSCA CPT for sure for a globally recognized PT cert. Specialize after that in others as you wish or see fit.

great week this week even with minor travel home to WI to see family this week. head back for the 75 minute flight in AM Monday. be home by noon yet and have day off still.
205.5 was weekly avg. my bi monthly InBody reading for bodycomp came back with a reading of 13.1% bodyfat as well. weekly kcal avg was 3397 with turkey day accounted for. all amazing food!!
got my full 36 data point blood/homrone labs back from Blue Print for Athletes and all is great!
Im low in EPA and VD it seems. Easy fixes. HDL is a shocking 94mg/dl. Test levels optimal, T:C ratio is great, A1C is ideal, liver enzymes all good. Healthy as an ox!
On that note, I will plug here only to save people some $$ if interested. Tomorrow only anyone can order any of the 5 tests and get %50 off with code cyber50. Note that I get 0 kickback for any of this.
pics fromm this morning.

Whats your fishoil intake like? If you are low in EPA/DHA
Do you supplement with Vitamin D3?
I do 2-3g EPA/DHA and 5,000 IU Daily.
And both come back on the high end and I don't eat fish (Food intolerance)2013 & 2014 RX Member of the Year

I do 3g of fish oil a day and have been. Totals 1500mg EPA/DHA per day.
I also do 5000IU of VD3 per day.
I eat salmon once a week most weeks as well. I only get dairy from greek yogo and cottage cheese in small amounts most days so I can see VD3 being low but still little surprised to see both this low while supplementing both.
Going to double that and see what happens.UNBA Mens Physique, USAPL 93kg,
