    37 weeks boys and girls!

    2 weeks into mini cut and so far so good. down about 6-7lbs so far. steady now this week. avg weight is 199lbs this week. average kcal intake was 2320.

    pete(coach) has me holding steady this week with calories and 0 cardio still. wants me to drop about 1 pound a week this week and next before going back to increased calories.

    on a new note i have been made an offer for a new job in st. louis as the director of food and fitness engagement. i would start just after labor day weekend. meaning i move out of san diego by end of month. matter of fact my last day aboard my ship in thursday and my last day as an employee of the Navy is the 24th.

    i have not accepted the job yet as I have one more skype interview to see what th details of an offer from fusion sport in chicago has to offer me as well as a data sports scientist so once i have that info i can make the best call and move forward.

    its been a HUGE weekend for me and this week will confirm an even bigger life change personnally and professionaly for sure. excited and anxious all at once!

    38 weeks down folks.

    did an article on my last blood labs if you did not see it yet, please do.

    beyond that i am 3 weeks into mini cut with 1 week to go yet maybe 2 tops according to coach.

    199lbs for average this past week. 198 this morning.

    great 3rd of week of block 5 so far and feeling great for 2300 calories a day to be frank.

    this past week been kick ass as i do not work at all last week or this week yet i get leave with pay for my last 2 weeks prior to my week vaca time home in wisconsin after i leave san diego. on sept 11th i head to st. louis for good to have 1 more week of settle in time before starting my new role at Monsanto as their first consumer food and fitness engagement lead. this is not a corporate fitness job in that i will not train anyone hands on with this job.

    super excited to be moving on to a job/place i can settle down for 10 years or more and make a big impact doing something i love and enjoy. make more money, have more growth potential and hope to god, start a family sooner then later!

    i lift, fish, cook, eat out, read articles, write articles and look for apartmentments/homes all day lately and kinda like it lol!

    anyone here from st louis? i gonna need a new gym soon!

    39 weeks boys! 198lbs avg this week. pete and i agree 1 more week of mini-cut this week before we jump back to high 3k mark again! this my last full week in san diego so i have time and ability to monitor my eating pretty well. once i get home on vaca with fam in wisconsin and then move over to st. louis things be a bit more hectic sure but still manageable. just easier when not trying to mini cut for sure!

    both elbows were tender as hell this week but 3x a week arms work will do that eventually so we gonna be super careful this week and modify as needed if that keeps up like last week.

    have a host of dinner, socials and going aways to hit up with friends and work peeps this week so its fun just fishing, working out, planning my relocation, article writing and doing this kind thing last week and more this week before life gets fast and real again sept 2nd when i head up to wisco for a week of vaca before making the formal move to Missouri.

    Well gang its week 40 of my offseason and the 5th and final week of my mini cut. The basics first:

    avg weight this past week: 196.5
    total loss from start of min cut: 8.1lbs
    calories avg over whole cut: 2490
    cardio: 2x a week for 30 mins spin class plus morning leisure walks of 25-30 minutes

    as of today pete is bringing me back to 3300 and by next week plan is 3800 pending rate of gain in first week. i leave san diego for good on wednesday after getting moved out tuesday so its really almost here! next weekend sunday when i update this thread it will be from wisconsin where i end my short 5 day vaca with family before road tripping down to st louis to move in on the 8th of sept just 3 days after my 33rd birthday.

    super stoked for change both personally and professionally. i have wanted and needed this for at least a solid year now. its so nice to see it taking effect now. good things abound folks!

    42 weeks into offseason this past weekend!

    All moved into my new place here in St Louis next to CWE (central west end) and loving it already! Mind you I lived just 2 hours west of here in Columbia, MO from spring 2010 to summer 2012 as an assistant strength coach at Mizzou before my move to Seattle for a year and then the past 4 years in San Diego. Now I am back in the show me state and hope to make thing home for a good long while!

    Start work Monday so for now just getting settled after 2 big days of moving, road tripping and waiting on my goods and car to arrive. I love my apartment, love my neighborhood and LOVE my my new gym a mile away called The Lab gym which is ripe with powerlifting, Oly lifters, CrossFitters and a good handful of stage fitness folks as well. May be one of the best gyms I have been a part of so far!

    I was 198.0 for the past 3 days straight. Pete has me holding steady at last weeks macros and cals since the move makes for a shaky period to base changes off of. I hit my macros and lifts tight even with the move so feel good there. On week 7 of this 8 week mesocycle right now.

    Macros per week holding at:

    6 days 220p 70f 280c
    1 day refeed 200p, 70f 400c (today!)

    No cardio last week and none planned this week other then walking around town each day just cause I love to walk and scope and see the massive 1300 acre forest park next to my place!

    Eager to start work next week and get a routine going soon. Also excited for seeing all the kick ass eats I can score here in St Louis.....BBQ being one major starting point!

    43 weeks down.

    199 avg weight this week.

    last week coming up in mesocycle 5 this week. week 8. then we deload for a week.

    pete has upped my macros to 300c, 220p, 70f 6 days and 400c, 70f and 200p 1 day for refeed day.

    today was day 1 on the new job and other then a boat load of presentations with other new hires from all over the campus, security, badges, decals, HR, paperwork etc......the facility is amazing! the buildings, offices, meeting rooms, cafeteria, the onsite gym! all amazing!

    i come from working on ships for 5 years and navy ship yards with the base gyms being the best part of the whole Navy insights i had.....this is pure spoiled and pampered to me! a real office all my own! my team (global engagement) is pure amazing as well.

    gonna love this new gig i tell ya that right now and the amount of people all over the world i cant impact with what i do is just got my really stoked right now for whats to come!

    44 weeks down!

    radom and odd drop in weight this week. dropped to 195 thursday and still around 197 this morning. been hitting macros on point and maybe even a little higher than normal if i really look at it. pete bumped me up thursday after the news and is keeping me there till mid week this week pending weight changes. new macros:

    315 carbs, 75f and 225 protein 7 days a week. i am deloading as of tuesday and then over the following week while on work travel which is great because i feel its due time for a deload with some joint and general vigor issues getting a little more mainstay. doing 0 cardio at all outside of leisure walks during the week at at work. love not having any required cardio at all the past 3 week now!

    tomorrow an off day and then 2 more days left in week 9 deload of mesocycle 5 on the year (since last show ended nov 19).

    had some elbow pain in both arms and left shoulder tenderness the past 2 weeks thus the deload this week. hope to get some relief from the litte joint issues.

    no cardio at all the past week outside walks through town to explore my new neighborhood which rocks BTW.

    Peter has me holding put at same macros as last week to see how my body adjust to getting back from travel. He plans to bump me up again if weight does not creep up some by midweek. bring on more food I say!!
