New Animal series: Vincenzo "Mass" Masone
naturalguy wrote:
Big, young guy with a lot of potential. He is a really nice kid who comes from a great family. His parents foster babies who have no home until they can find them a place.
One of the things that drew us to Vinny Mass is that he is not a big name in the sport, he is not an "Instagram celebrity" (I actually hate that term), he is the average guy busting his ass in his basement gym trying to get as big as possible right now.
We are doing a video series about him:

Thanks for posting Curt. It will be interesting to follow Vinny's journey. He is a BIG boy with a lot of potential. How will he do in competition remains to be seen, the process of getting there is more interesting than the final result in my opinion.

You can get a sense of how big he is in this video, he is sitting next to Evan:

This is a learning process. I did the huge bulk thing. Didn't work out optimally. People told me not to do it. I had to learn for myself and draw my own conclusions. Vincenzo will figure out through trial and error if this approach works or not and he will make the necessary adjustments in the future. Hes not fat. I just saw him 2 Saturdays ago. He has a huge frame like Dennis Wolf and he needs to fill it out. It's not like his stomach is hanging over his weight belt like mine was when I was 300lbs. Hes proportioned. A guy like this cannot walk around shredded in his offseason because it takes a shit load of eating to fill the frame out.

Facts. He's got a HUGE frame, which makes him all the more physically impressive... Think something along the lines of an NFL DE. Same thing that helped give Arnold and Louie such imposing stature--height mixed with mass. But it takes more work, more food, more time, more bulking to hang meat on that frame.
Vincenzo is a BIG, strong kid, who actually has good structure and bodybuilding genetics. But the thing that gives me the most faith about his future (on and off stage) is his attitude. He is humble and hard-working and comes from a remarkable family. He's funny and eager to learn. He's a truly good dude. I think it is his whole package that makes his future so bright.
