Hi Seth! What made you come back, and how did you find the motivation? What was the hardest part of the comeback and what do you find the most rewarding?
Hope youre able to ask these questions.
Have a nice day!

Hi Seth, it's great to see another outdoorsman representing masculinity, rather than another preening sycophant. Good to see you're finding your voice in the sport again.
How has your training changed, if at all? Are you lifting heavy? And just as importantly, what brand of cigars are you partial too?

Seth Feroce is a 28-year-old husband, father of a 5-year-old daughter, 2008 IUP graduate in Safety Sciences, motivational speaker, and an IFBB Pro bodybuilder.
Feroce was generous enough to share some time during the recent Bros vs Pros 13 event at the Diamond Gym paying tribute to the late John Kemper.
Feroce became involved in weight training by one of the traditional routes.
“I was the fat kid growing up. My nickname was Chubs.”
That may have added to what Feroce described as...
“big self esteem issues growing up!”
Who should come to his rescue but one Arnold Schwarzenegger in the form of the film Commando. The 13-year-old overweight child saw Arnold carrying the big log on his shoulder and knew he wanted to be like that. Feroce thought,
“That guy is a badass!”
Childhood teasing, Commando, and his sister's love of an IFBB Pro kick-started Feroce's journey with the iron.
“My older sister loved Kevin Levrone! The first bodybuilding magazine I saw was Kevin Levrone on Flex. I started reading the magazines, MD and Flex.”
I asked if Feroce's family had a weight set when he was a boy.
“My dad did. Sand weights in the attic. I didn't know anyone who lifted. I'd be hiding in my room doing pushups and situps, as many as I could before my shower.”
Cutting out pop and chips and fast food, over time Feroce kept developing.
The boy his friends called Chubs would keep developing until he – like Levrone before him – earned his IFBB Pro card at the NPC Nationals. Feroce earned his card at the 2009 Nationals as a Light Heavyweight competitor, the same year Jeff Long earned his as a HW and Cedric McMillan took the Overall title as a Super Heavyweight.
From a boy bullied for being overweight to a man being recognized for a superior physique, Feroce went from a teenager and novice to exercise reading MD and Flex to appearing on the November 2010 issue of Muscular Development magazine.
Feroce not only advanced from reading the magazines to appearing on the cover, but he also eventually got to train with his older sister's one-time crush.

Interestingly, with the Pro card and great success in the sport, Feroce has noticed that in some ways,
“instead of being a value to people... you become a target.”
Perhaps this is one of the reasons why Feroce has begun to help others who may be facing the same issues he dealt with as a boy.
“I really enjoy working with young kids. I just started doing motivational speaking. Grade schools, telling them the importance of staying in school... of education and hard work.”
Feroce is planning on adding the junior high setting to his speaking engagements, addressing issues of peer pressure and low self esteem so often encountered by students in this age group.
One of the people who has been a rock for Feroce has been his wife Elise.
He said he was at college – Indiana University of Pennsylvania – swapping answers for a test. Feroce was classmates with and trained with his future wife's cousin and he assumed the student they'd be studying with was going to be a guy.
Feroce was happily surprised when the student was Elise and told me he likes to say...
"I met a nice girl at the library."
With the support of his wife and the motivation of something as basic as childhood name-calling, Feroce has overcome tremendous adversity and achieved a level of success many can only dream of.
