I slept 8 hours last night. Did legs today from 12:30-3:00pm, that includes warm-up at the beginning and recumbent bike at the end to flush them out. Passed out from 5-8pm. Sleep again at 1am.

    No work on leg day.

Most people don't sleep well. They rest and watch Netflix well, but that's not sleep. This thread had potential.

+ if you see the percentage of people using stims in USA (and Europe) Coffee for instance and how it affects sleep and his different phases. + Yeah as Curt said the meds consumption You could add Benzodiazepine to the mix of different meds that will not only affects your sleep, but ruin your ability to sleep when you got tolerant and used heavy doses as prescribed lol. Take sometimes 2 or more years to "recover" an OK sleep. I've help a lot of clients improved their sleep after using these types of meds. There is a way through exercise and eating that made your GABA receptors functions properly again and your body to produce your own "downing" neurotransmitters in the right amount to ensure optimal sleep.

Don't forget the effect of alcohol especially chronic consumption of it that also affect your ability to sleep. (quite the same way as benzos or SSRI, well usually far less aggressively than these last ones).

Other factors that affects sleep: Lack of vitamins and minerals.
=> Could be caused by poor eating habit (exacerbate by training)
=> Not enough fibers in your diet.
=> Eating disorders, even if it cases such as anorexia, usually sleep is not an issue since you feel tired and your body in hunger states naturally produce more downing neurotransmitters that get you in "deep" sleeping places and well sometimes get you hooked up in this feel good hormones. In other cases such as bulimia it's the reverse (especially those who not made them vomits), the large amounts of calories augment your heart rate and body temperature which prevent your body to be in good sleep condition and well sleep decently/enough.

I do work with people with eating disorders and have really great rate of success making them progressively and slowly recover through nutrition and sound and progressive exercises. I'm on several US and french forums not as David Cua I changed the name and provide advise on nutrition, exercise and well shamelessly (or not) have most of my clients from these place.

However I have zero problem charging money to help people beat diseases and feel great afterwards.

If any of you know people with eating disorders you can reach to me by PM and will give you my personnal email adresse. Would do it only for 50dollars a month. (5 times less than I usually charge for athletes or bodybuilders )

I usually fall asleep fine, however, I will wake up in the middle of the night and it takes some time to get back to sleep. I also go through waves some months I sleep great and other months I don't. I think it is also about quality... some nights I will get 6 hours of deep sleep and feel great. Other nights I can be in bed for 9 hours of restless shitty sleep and feel terrible.

This is weird, the last four nights I have been averaging about three and a half hours of sleep... last night I slept 11 hours straight of good deep sleep ,maybe that's because 1, no workout ,2, getting ready for Super Bowl Sunday, 3 ,No preworkout supps, 4,no coffee and let's not forget about the parades during Mardi Gras...Hey, I might be onto something !!??
