Well that's still my theory. ^^
He might have nerve damage in his legs or something that prevent good nervous information in there, or something that reduce blood flow there. Or sth completely different than that. I just don't know that's why I make hypothesis and say that I might be completely wrong.David Cua also called Donald Pump known for "making bodybuilding great again" !

Something likely inhibited the range of motion.

His range of motion at the bottom of movements should be fine because he squats well and that all comes from the front/upper ankle, but maybe the top of the range and the contraction is limited because of damage from injections gone wrong around 2007/2008. Another possibility is a prolapsed disc issue, which might also speak to his mediocre lower lat development. Discs can cause issues from head to toe. I'm referring to nerve damage and contraction issues again.
Lots of guys had poor calves, from Loui to Robbie Rob to Dex. You can go on and on. But Curt James is right, Wolf, unlike those guys, DID have decent lower legs and they've been diminishing since around the 2007 Olympia, so there's an issue there that goes beyond genetics and training.
Actually you can go back to 2008 and Wolf's calves looked their all-time worst before he started prep. I think there was an incident or injury sometime between the 2007 Olympia and early summer 2008. I honestly think he worked really hard just to get back what he has now.
Just throwing more things out there.

And I'm not trying to be disrespectful to Wolf. It's just so noticeable. Was curious if there was something on the record.
Who's the female bodybuilder whose one calf was decimated? I'll think of her name. She had varicose veins or that vein mass removed at some point. Like granite but a clear deficit in that one calf.
Again, no disrespect intended. They have remarkable physiques but lost a body part along the way.
While I've never had any of the bodyparts. Lol

So if Arnold went to South Africa and Reg Park showed him how to grow calves the legitimate way, then why didn't Arnold seek out advices on hamstring development to catch up with his newfound calf glory?
Germans and Austrians are well-known for their sudden calf development. So are Lou Ferrigno and Tony Pearson.
Dennis Wolf has humility.
And Flex Wheeler had the perfect esiclene/synthol formula down pat.Last edited by MusclePoppins; 02-10-2016 at 08:17 PM.
