Yet another class action lawsuit filed

Labrada Nutrition, Dr.Oz, etc…sued in Class Action over Diet Pills

Ok, so this is a bit of a weird one, but a class action lawsuit has been filed against:

LEE LABRADA
LABRADA BODYBUILDING NUTRITION, INC.
LABRADA NUTRITIONAL SYSTEMS, INC.
DR. MEHMET C.OZ, M.D.
ENTERTAINMENT MEDIA VENTURES, INC. d/b/a OZ MEDIA
ZOCO PRODUCTIONS,LLC
HARPO PRODUCTIONS, INC.
SONY PICTURES TELEVISION, INC
NATUREX, INC.
INTERHEALTH NUTRACEUTICALS, INC.

As you can see, the lawsuit names a lot of disparate defendants, from those engaged in marketing and wholesaling ingredients to end manufacturers, to Dr.Oz, and even the companies that air and produce his show (HARPO is owned by Oprah, for example).

At issue are the Labrada Nutrition products containing Raspberry Ketones, Green Coffee Bean, and Garcinia Cambogia. These three ingredients are basically total garbage…and Labrada is a generally clean company, who never got involved in prohormones or other nonsense. But that doesn’t mean they’re not selling some bunk products with some dubious science and marketing.
