Hip Labral Tear from Femoral Acetabular impingement, how do you work out your legs?
I ended up getting a hip labral tear and was diagnosed with femoral acetabular impingement.
Given the relatively high incidence of this pathology, I am assuming there has to be atleast a few of you that have gone through this before. I do realize that surgery might be the best option eventually, I am trying to delay it as much as I can (9-12 months). I am getting aggressive PT which revolves around strengthening my hip muscles. However as is the case with Physical Therapy routines, all though challenging, they dont do much for hypertrophy or strength.
If someone has had personal experience with this, can you please comment here and give me a rough routine that you followed to maintain leg training.
