Why is health even a topic here? This magazine has nothing to do with health (I dont think). It has to do with sexy women. It is a superficial magazine, not a health magazine.
I would have to argue that having your photo on such a widespread magazine, regardless of what you look like, is just about the most unhealthy thing possible for a young woman. Talk about eating disorders and the plethora of health destroying thoughts that would go through ones head seeing herself 90% nude on every newsstand on earth...

The great thing about the magazine and picking this model, is that it creates acceptance for other people that are really psychologically affected by their weight and the way they look. A little bit of "peace of mind " to them won't hurt anybody. They can still reach "competent" people to lose the weight if they want to, or educate themselves to do so if they really want to look otherwise. However for those who don't want to look different, I think it's a positive add from Sports Illustrate Swimsuit.
