What the.................
Patriots trade Chandler Jones
I know it looks like a favorable trade (for the Pats) on paper, but who is going to rush the passer next season?
Dear Patriots fans, we are in for a rude awakening. What happens when Belichick and Brady retire? What happens when Kraft dies?
We (as Patriot fans) have been blessed for so many years.

I just read that the Patriots picked up Chris Long (Howie's son) to replace Jones.
It's a great signing if the fucker can stay healthy! Chris, the Patriots aren't the Rams.
Hopefully, a premier franchise like the Patriots can bring out the best of your awesome pedigree.

The Patriots also bring in former Bears TE Martellus Bennett. Good move. Two big, athletic TEs in New England?
Tommy may go for Peyton's touchdown record next season.

Martellus will drive you crazy When He was with Dallas he would be on the sideline before games catching bullets with one hand then in the game they lob a perfect pass to him and it looks like he has boxing gloves on.A true physical specimen but a knucklehead.

You bring up a good point, but you can't discount the fact that some players get fed up, playing for losing organizations. The Patriots have the luxury of having a standard of excellence.
If Martellus proves that he isn't the right fit for the Pats, then his stay will be short lived.
Bennett was also a baby when he was with Dallas. He proved to be a dynamic TE even with the erratic Jay Cutler throwing him the football.

I love good competition. Let's hope Tony Romo is healthy for 16 games this year.
He is easily a top 10 quarterback in the NFL.
I think Jerry Jones is the real problem in Dallas. He needs to understand that past success does not equal future glory. Tom Landry and Jimmy Johnson are not walking through that door......

Romo got the position figured out just as his body started breaking down.I too hope he can go all 16 games but we need to have a decent backup ready.

If everything works out with Bennett, the Patriots will probably have the best two tight end in the NFL since Gronk and .....forgive me Patriots fans ....Hernandez.
