How did Juan end up 2nd, as it was clearly a two man race. Beyeke was years better than Juan. He was a crowd favorite according to the sounds the audience make (while he was doing his routine). His structure, muscle bellies are CLEARLY BETTER than Juan, he has better body parts, everything flows better on Beyeke and same conditioning. So How on earth did Beyeke end up being 3rd ? Every Arnold Classic having the same panel of judging ? and the same judge (here Steve weinberger, co owner of Bev Francis powerhouse Gym, the gym were Juan Morel trains and Kai greene often comes etc for shoots)
Now it would be time to have a judges turn over and that the ifbb "hire" / "recruit" different judges in his shows that would not have any conflict of interest with the athlete placings. Because 2 of the hometown boys that wins, and one of the hometown boy (Juan) that was clearly WORSE than Lionel.
I'm not the only one who says it was a joke that Beyeke wasn't at least 2nd, Peter Mcgough for instance said that. Other guys in this industry too. I would love to hear Dave and Chris opinion about the placing of Juan over Beyeke which is completely Ludacris.
Even if Dave is friend of Juan and former coach of him, would not make him biased, cause Dave usually tell it like he thinks it should go.David Cua also called Donald Pump known for "making bodybuilding great again" !

Seriously ?
:/ Why would they be deleted? I did not say anything "out of the line", expressing my opinion (and some of others) I do not say, my opinion is fact. But the decision was VERY controversial to say the least.
Also did not insult anybody (nor do I feel the need to insult anybody). I did not said bad stuff about the ifbb neither, just saying that it's becoming old to have all the time the same judges judging the big shows and that there should be a turn over (in the judges department) so that the judging would be less "biased" and there will be less conflict of interest in line with the outcome of the judging.
Therefore it's not "delete thread material" and if it ever was, I would apologize for crossing the line, since I'm a very LOYAL fan of the sport, The IFBB and Rx muscle team/family.David Cua also called Donald Pump known for "making bodybuilding great again" !

Juan was in much better condition. Peter Mcgoof is either an idiot and losing his marbles or he has the driest sense of humor in bodybuilding. He had Beyeke winning the whole thing. Actually he has Lionel pushing Heath for the Olympia. Great shape but he was way off, and we know when he's conditioned and dry his legs aren't Olympia quality yet, especially from behind. He's still got work to do and time to do it.
People seem so enamored with height and conditioning that they're unable to critique and compare properly. The cut up Beyeke that should have beat Kuclo beats Morel here for 2nd, but not this version.

* I meant to say people are so enamored with height and shape that they're unable to critique and compare properly. Beyeke was in no man's land in 3rd. Shape would carry him over Fateev and Rockel even if he was fat, but wasn't conditioned enough for shape to place him ahead of Morel. Kai has every body part in spades and was hard and conditioned. Juan was full and conditioned. Lionel has great shape and added some muscle since the last time he was on stage, but nothing was crisp -- front, side or rear. That was an extremely easy show to judge. The only comparison even resembling a battle was Ronny Rockel and Vitaly Fateev and Fateev had more muscle and Rockel was flat.

If Peter Mc Gobshite is of the opinion that Beyeke should have won ! Then he needs to stop his Medication. Mc Gobble is telling anybody that will listen how he Supposedly Discovered Yates and how he received the call on his Bat-phone about Yates tearing his Tricep. At this stage now it's Boring what the English Gobbler is says. Maybe Retirement in at his doorstep and Blechman can sign him with all the other has beens. RANT OVER

Morel looks harder than Beyeke is the photos. Beyeke has great shape, in the quarter turn he blew everyone away except on condition.
Kai still looked watery in the front torso especially in the front lat spread. I see him losing that pose to the other two.
Beyeke has something special is he can harness it.
