Did the 2002 GNC Show of Strength Bodybuilding Championship change everything?
For those that don't know/remember, I will share an excerpt from elitefitness.com
"GUNTER WINS! Gunter Schlierkamp shocked the bodybuilding world by beating reigning Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman at the GNC Show of Strength Bodybuilding Championship on Saturday, November 9. Schlierkamp defeated the Olympia champ only three weeks after Coleman had won his fifth straight Sandow."
Is this why the reigning Olympia champ chooses not to compete in any other contests? Did Gunter's win change the entire landscape of the IFBB?

Shining moment for Gunter. He must have felt like a million bucks.

Yes. We all know Ronnie and Gunter would win every show nowadays . Dexter can win every show other than Olympia now. Chris Cormier would battle Phil, Kai or Rhoden any day of the week. Lee preist we all know has and could beat most anyone.. Dennis James was beating most before he retired , and a peeled Craig Titus would only get beat by a handful of bbers today .
