Choose your one shining moment
Given the excitement of the NCAA Basketball Men's final last night, and hearing conversations on great finishes, I'm creating poll on what YOUR one shining moment in sports would be.... not just the achievement of winning, but HOW you won it in an instant, so this doesn't include all sports, but events where ONE play means the difference between winning and losing, as well as the consequences of such action. So here goes a list, but feel free to include others not mentioned in the poll:

Only thing I can come up with was when I was powerlifting I had been doing it a few years and I opened with a 525 squat.I squatted down and at the very bottom my suit ripped out.If you've ever had this happen you know you completely lose any tightness in your lift.In those days they didn't lift in rounds you just did the weight when it came up.So I miss 525 and no one else was attempting that weight so I had to follow myself.Well I tried it a second time and got buried.I thought well I am done when a buddy of mine who was finished squatting told me to borrow his suit.Problem was I didn't have time to go change and lift that same weight so I told the expeditor I would try a higher weight.I went and got changed and the weight was going up and I came and said I will do this weight. It was 550Lbs. But I didn't even know at the time how much it was.Well after getting buried twice with 525 nobody in the crowd gave me much of a chance with 550.I remember feeling pretty confident because I knew I had a good suit on now.Anyway the announcer was telling the crowd to get behind me and when I made it I remember how loud they cheered mostly because they didn't think I had much of a chance to get it.Was just a lower level powerlifting meet but was my one shining moment with a crowd standing and cheering for me.

While we all desire some kind of moment to shine. The real battle comes afterward as one chases a similar moment. Take them when they come and enjoy, they can be quite rare.
Training and diet consulting available. Send me a PM.

I think all of them can be equally impressive as well as exciting. I guess it just comes down to preference. Great thread, sir.

Four gold medals at IPF Classic (raw) World Powerlifting Championships, to include an open world record in each: squat, bench, deadlift, total. Yup, not much. LOL.
