People at my gym are usually kind enough to let someone else work in. Usually. In the event I get the ONE machine hog I just stand there and wait and rip a putrid fart in his/her direction (like old lady who belongs in a nursing home meets giant dog - caliber fart). That usually gets them to move. I've recently found that technique works very well if I need a squat rack.
