Is there anyone ready to take Phil Heath's spot as Mr. Olympia?
He is only working with chris for the first time this season. He never really worked with Farrah. Farrah tried to snipe Ramy from DJ and Chris. He was with DJ since badar asked DJ for his help almost 3-4 years ago. He has also never worked with Dave. You are misinformed on his contest prep history.
Ramy didn't even speak English until the last two years. DJ used to speak German to one of ramys friends and that friend would translate in Arabic to Ramy I believe.

It's probably a good idea for guru's not to bad mouth their clients. Not sure if DJ understood this.

you must not listen to rx much... chris DID work with ramy before, he said ramy was listening to a bunch of different people and then went with george. he definitively did 100% work with george for most of his career lol wtf are you talking about? the rest of what you said about bader and dj is correct though. Dave said on one of his shows that he helped Ramy as well, but i'm not sure if it was a formal arrangement or just sent him some diets one time or another...

I listen to every radio show and Dave has specifically said he did not work with Ramy formally and Farrah poached ramy from chris before he ever had a chance to make progress. Before Farrah's failed run with Ramy, DJ did ramys prep. Go relisten if you don't believe me.

Judging from that I'd say YOU were misinforming people on Ramy's prep history. Can you now see why the other poster is arguing?Last edited by warthog; 05-07-2016 at 06:54 AM.

lol and he also said "farrah tried to snipe ramy from dj and chris" followed by "he is only working with chris for the first time"...
He has worked with all of these people. of course there are excuses as to why any or all of them didn't work out, but the bottom line is he's been a pro for years under the guidance of gurus for years and hasn't nailed it. I hope he will but IMO he's about to lose his thunder if he doesn't get it together this year.

Ramy has plenty of time to get it together. He's with the right guy now. Him and McCarver will have epic final callouts in the years to come.

Agreed, but that wasn't really the question. When Phil either loses or retires a champ, do you see a competitor/s capable of winning 3..4..5+ Olympias in a row?
Do you envision another dominant champ on the horizon, or will the title of Mr. Olympia bounce around after Heath is gone?

I was commenting on the last part of Dimatteo's post before mine.
As for your thread question, Heath is done at 5. Weinberger and Co.judges are sick of his regressing physique. If Ramy doesn't start his reign then it will bounce around for 2-3 years like it did from 1980-1983 until Ramy and McCarver reach their peaks and take over the space on the Olympia posters and the final callouts. Assuming they all compete, Kai, Rhoden, Wolf, Dex, Compton, Cedric and Beyeke all have the tools to step up and mix and match placings with each other and with Phil. Obaid and Roelly can be top 6 in shape as well. I think 2016 is completely open. After last year it doesn't feel like anyone is the champ.
Whoever wins this year could win a second, but given everyone's ages I think Ramy and McCarver are the only guys that have 3+ potential. It's too bad if Kai never wins one.
I think Phil quits when he loses. I don't think he has the balls to come back and risk going from 2nd to 4th or 6th like Ronnie and Jay. And he definitely won't stick around just to place for years and years like Dex has. He couldn't stomach that. He's been the king for too long. Dex always knew his place as a consistent opportunist.Last edited by MusclePoppins; 05-07-2016 at 03:17 PM.
