Why do you take steroids or think you need to take steroids?
Do you think it is essential to get where you want as a physique or strength athlete?

I don't, but I don't think badly of those that choose to take steroids. My main concern at this point is to just get healthy. I'll worry about all that stuff later!

Because I now spend 1/10 of what I did for OTC and get ten times the results. Seriously.

I have heard that quite a few times, people get really hooked on the results.
I think this is where there might be an issue for women.
It really does depend on how comfortable women are with androgenising as I have heard it said that every single cycle will show somewhere on the body.
I have seen women who have used a little and look absolutely amazing, gorgeous and feminine, then only to run into them two years later and barely recognise them, how they look (especially the face) or how they sound (the voice).
They got addicted to the feeling of being on cycle and the results.
I have my own opinions of this, however, I also think it is their body to do with as they please.
My concern is that society isn't always that accepting or kind towards those that look different, it is a part of our primitive biological wiring, it may not be right or just, but it does happen.
In some ways it is difficult for me to relate to the desire to take steroids, I have put on, and continue to put on a substantial amount of muscle as a natural.

Hi Tatyana,
you have to be aware that some of us really don't care what the society thinks about how we look & what we decide to do of our life...
I have changed my physique for myself & I am extremely happy & content of what I have achieved. I didn't do it for others but entirely for myself!

Kinda sorta, hun. What I got "addicted" to was the result per dollar and the "ease of use". Thousands of OTC dollar (yes, literaly) compared to not even one thousand yet for ten times better results, plus the fact that Im not worrying about what time to take this or that, or whether my stomach is empty is what I like. It's just a matter of practicality for me.

I take them because for 3 years i tried to develop my "ideal look" naturally I did not achieve it. i dont do anything "hardcore", no needles, and I am only doing 1 or 2 cycles and its just to see if maybe this will help me develop in my areas that are lacking. .... ill know the outcome in another 9 weeks... im just starting now to get the acne and oily face that i was warned about ... i guess its the price i have to pay. hopefully it pays off.

I haven't taken anything, but I have been considering a light cycle of Var latley.
I know my weaknesses, and I know the areas of my body where it is most difficult to build muscle. For me it's upper body.
The only thing that keeps me on the fence is the worry of any long term sides. I plan on having more children, and it worries me to put something in my body that might cause complications later on.

The muscle mags and supplement companies are always telling us that we can achieve the look of the pros naturally. So called 'steroid substitutes' are all over the place and sometimes messing with pro-hormones etc can screw you up more than 'the real thing'. Most come to realize that a little of something chemically orientated is needed to complete the package. It is knowing when to quit that becomes the problem. The mental flow usually goes..."Well, if a 'little' did this...then think what would happen if I took a lot!"

I have heard this quite a few times Malika, and I do admire people who go against the trend and societal norms.
There is the other sticking point that, for the most part, the majority of our behaviour is not conscious. We would like to think that it is, however modern neuroscience is catching up with some of premises that Freud postulated around 100 years ago.
It is well established that women who train with weights and develop their physiques are more confident and have more self-esteem, I suppose my query is more about who thinks they NEED to take drugs, not those who choose to.
