    Default Clen & Ostarine

    So I want to know any females experience with ostarine...
    I'm on day 5 of ostarine and week 6 of clenbuterol. I will take 12.5 mg of ostarine for 6-8 weeks. I started with 20mcg of clen, then 40mcg and now 60mcg. Two weeks at each dose.

    So far after taking ostarine I have noticed I am more vascular, feeling a little stronger and I've also been breaking out a little bit. I am on about a 1,100 calorie diet, fasted LISS cardio 7x a week for 40 mins, HIIT training 3x a week for 14 mins and a 5 day training split.

    I started at 5'4 132lbs, 18%BF and now I am 122lbs 16%BF. I was going to do a bikini show but I want to develop more muscle in my legs since my upper body is much bigger and muscular. That's why I'm taking ostarine. I am under supervision of a coach and RD!

    1100 cals seems super low-especially for that much training-how far out from a possible show are you at this point?

    I was about 6 weeks out and then had an emergency apendictomy. My coach is extremely aggressive and wanted me to be ready. After my surgery I kind of had a wake up call and decided to put off competeting... Right now we are just trying to get me down to 115 and maintain from there. The past two weeks I've been drinking here and there and eating slightly off my meal plan but my metabolism is so shot that it made me gain 4 pounds. And I never went over 1400 calories.
    I weighed 127 this morning and I'm officially one week on ostarine and it has made me retain SO much water weight. I drink so much water because I'm always thirsty on it.

    now I am no expert on all the various pros and cons of these items, but ostarine, ideally, should not be causing any extra water weight gain-it can be a little tricky b/c us females can respond to things in a totally opposite manner than our male counterparts...but overall water weight, and especially the thirst, should not be an issue-if your metabolism is as wrecked as you mentioned I would not be touching clen right now and I would also be trying to up my calorie count so that my body can get itself out its rut-now if your trainer is upping your cals each week to try and ease it all back in then that may actually not be a bad thing-but if the cals are going to be kept this super low I would almost suggest looking for someone else-the unfortunate reality is that when the body decides to be this stubborn the solution is not to try and force it with lower cals-I just fear with the amount of working out you're already doing combined with low cals will make a bad situation worse

    Male or female, when calories are restricted and workload is high there are less options with work with to continue progress.

    thank you I'm aware but I'm asking about ostarine, not my diet.

    When I googled "Ostarine bloat", I found a couple forum discussions about it, but the general response is no one seems to identify bloat as a typical side effect of it.

    If you want to check it, drop the ostarine for a couple days (altho I don't know how long it stays in the system) or maybe a week and see if it changes anything in the water retention.

    RE: Clen - recommend including l-taurine w/ it for cramping, altho your dosing is pretty tame.

    If not, I'd review your diet. The above comments re: diet are valid. Since you didn't include any details about the diet, its still a fair possible source of water retention.

    I also think your diet and the comments regarding it are valid. If I were your provider, and hearing about cramping, I'd also check for hyponatremia with your report of polydipsia (excessive thirst) and drinking three gallons of water a day being a concern for me.

    Thx! I posted a comment on that Great to hear things are settling w/ the addition of some sodium. I also recommended supplementing any clen use w/ l-taurine & potassium.

    So I have stopped my cut... since my metabolism is so shot and it's just destroying me. I am still taking ostarine and I'm using the summer to train doing metcon like workouts as well as some powerlifting.

    I think you will feel healthier and gain more muscle with that plan. I'm still interested to watch your progress and log!
