Is Dexter "The Blade" Jackson in the top 10 all-time?
I would ask anyone to name 10 bodybuilders that have a more impressive resume.
From Wiki:
- As of 2015, Jackson has made a record setting 16 Mr. Olympia appearances.
- Jackson and Chris Dickerson are the only bodybuilders to win titles in both the Mr. Olympia and Masters Olympia bodybuilding competitions.
- Jackson has won the Arnold Classic five times (2005, 2006, 2008, 2013, 2015), more than any other bodybuilder.
- Jackson is one of only three bodybuilders to have won both the Mr. Olympia and Arnold Classic bodybuilding competitions.

Grimek
Park
Reeves
Pearl
Sergio
Arnold
Dorian
Ronnie
Jay
Phil
definitely not Top 10. Might squeeze into a Top 20 but maybe not. I would have him behind Wheeler and Levrone as a bodybuilder.

You must be trolling.
We are not judging on who looks best at a single contest. It is about consistent excellence, career, longevity, and being a Mr. Olympia champ. Most of your list must be comprised of personal favorites, because many of those guys ( while great bbers) do not compare to Dexter Jackson.

Yes. I would put him over a lot of those "great" bodybuilders from the 90's and early 2000's

Grimek was undefeated in competition.
Park and Reeves (along with Serge Nubret) were successful bodybuilders as well as film stars, setting the stage or the path for Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Pearl won the Mr. Universe, what, three or four times. (Googles) He won in 1953 as an amateur, 1961, 1967, and 1971.
Sergio struck fear in Arnold's heart.
Arnold is the most successful bodybuilder of all time.
Dorian transformed the sport.
Ronnie matches Lee Haney for all-time Sandows and exceeds him on physique.
Jay is a multiple O winner and the only Olympia competitor to lose his title and then win it back.
Phil has proven himself the Lee Haney of this era and made Kai Greene his Rich Gaspari.
If that's not consistent excellence, successful career, and proven longevity in the sport then I don't know what is.Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | Join Rx Muscle on Facebook!

Sergio is a three time Mr Olympia. Olympia's top everything. To win means being the best bodybuilder on the planet.
Before the first Olympia in 1966 the NABBA Universe was the pinnicle. Park and Pearl won the Universe multiple times.
Having Dexter above Sergio Oliva is a bit of a face palm.

In my opinion, it is hard to try and compare BBers from different eras.
I merely stated that Dexter Jackson deserves to be in the all-time top ten.

In my opinion, Dexter Jackson has had a longer, and better career than Sergio Oliva. Both are Olympia champs, and legends in bodybuilding.

You're comparing Sergio Oliva to Dexter Jackson there?
Fwiw, Dexter has had a longer career, competing now for 25 years versus Sergio's twenty. Better could be up to interpretation as Sergio has more Olympia titles. Also Dexter has stated he slipped in because Jay was off.Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | Join Rx Muscle on Facebook!
