Dallas McCarver will be Mr. Olympia
I'm beginning to think he is next in line. Rhoden, Ramy, those guys are awesome but I still have my doubts. Pulling for them but after seeing the last year of this guy training, dedication, consistantly showing up better and better, his mindset is that of Mr. O and its beyond motivating/ exciting.
Prediction: He will destroy, demolish obliterate, annihilate, vaporize the Chicago lineup and will be top 6 in the O this year arguably a place or two higher. Let's see come 16 weeks.Last edited by mackdaddy567; 05-26-2016 at 01:52 AM.

Check out Geoff's article and the old thread. The Ramy/McCarver Olympia train is coming. Ramy might get it this year, but sooner than later McCarver will be standing next to him in the final callout, a la Jay Cutler next to Ronnie, circa 2001.

He handles 200lb dumbells with ease. He's a strong boy.

I believe McCarver has a better shape and is more complete than Ramy. At least without seeing them stand next to each other... Ramy lacks the hams, gluten, and calves McCarer has.
Plus McCarver has the eve of the tiger, seriously, last two years he and Janson have been killing it. Plus he is 24, and has no weak points, just strong points that are becoming stronger!
Motivates me like crazy. I leave work. Watch a couple of his vids on IG and I'm ready!

As a person who was put up super elite dead lift numbers in the past, I am floored by the video of him pulling 845. NOBODY pulls 845. I watched Derrick Poundstone, yes, worlds strongest man multiple runner-up 6'2" 335 pound Derrick Poundstone, pull 850 about 10 feet from me in 2011, and it took everything he had in him. Dallas doesn't even dead lift that often!
There is no chance that any bodybuilder has anything close to that one rep max on video. Ronnie did 805 x2, but he bounced the second rep and the second rep is actually often times easier than the first when dead lifting.

Watching Dallas body change from white to blood red in the middle of the dead lift was freaky.
How much is the amount/volume of ped's used linked to strength? I know verry little about power lifting.
Is it more gear more strength?

"Sauced to the gills" made me start wondering if Kevin Levrone is still able to breathe outside of water.
Also, I hope Ramy is seeing these Big White Ron McCarver videos. The day of reckoning is coming where Ramy beats Phil, but then is immediately faced with defending against this 6-footer.
