Thoughts on Roman Reigns??
Seems like he's now the new person to love AND hate, a post formerly filled by the recovering John Cena. So what about you?? Love to see him perform, or can't wait to see him go??

This.
And he sucks.
Absolutely hate him.
But here's why... It's not that he's the worst wrestler... He's not. It's just that he's unlikeable.
Also, everyone from the shield got some sort of repackage done when they broke up. New looks, new music, new vibe... Roman Reigns didn't change a bit.
He's still the exact same shield clown he was before.
Seth Rollins is the shit though.

Agreed. He doesn't have very good in-ring talent, and is HORRIBLE on the mike. It's sad when (a) the WWE has to alter the sound on the taping whenever RR comes out so that the screen audience doesn't hear the live audience booing him; and (b) you know things are bad when WWE hands out free RR posters in an attempt to put him over.
Also agree on Seth Rollins, but that's pretty much been true from the beginning.......

That and the fact that he's related to The Rock ...translated... free ride.

I so badly WANT to like him as a sort of "big bad" role, but I just feel like they threw him at us after Shield broke up.

he had a good momentum going before he had an injury (was it a hernia?) but when Daniel Bryan came back it totally killed that-ever since it has felt so forced

WWE seems determined to make him "the guy". Hoping they listen to the fans at some point and stop trying to force him on everyone. His run is the most engineered I can recall.

Looks like Roman Reign's push just burned out.....
WWE suspends Roman Reigns for violation of league's wellness policy
By: Josh Barnett | June 21, 2016 5:03 pm
Two days after losing the WWE World Championship, Roman Reigns was suspended for 30 days by the WWE for his first violation of the wellness policy, the WWE announced.
It is unknown when the violation occurred or what Reigns took to warrant the suspension. WWE does not release specifics on policy violations. The suspension will take effect immediately, the WWE said.
Reigns is scheduled to face WWE champion Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in a triple threat championship match at Battleground on July 24.
Reigns’ suspension would be over by that date, assuming the WWE keeps him in the match. He would be absent for any of the pre-match buildup for the highly anticipated meeting among the three former members of “The Shield.”
Interestingly, Reigns seems likely to miss the WWE Draft on July 19, when Smackdown moves to Tuesdays and goes live on the USA Network. Reigns figures to be a key player as the roster is split into a Raw brand and a Smackdown brand.
Reigns took responsibility on Twitter: “I apologize to my family, friends and fans for my mistake in violating WWE’s wellness policy. No excuses. I own it."
Reigns becomes the biggest name to be suspended since 2012 when Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio Jr. were hit with their second violations.
The WWE touts its wellness program as “unique in the entertainment industry and is considered to be as good as or better than the testing programs initiated by major sports leagues, government agencies and corporations.”
Under the policy, talent is suspended 30 days for a first violation, 60 for a second violation and is fired for a third violation.

Yeah so they drop the title from him to Rollins and then to Ambrose with a same night MITB cash in, then the following night have him and Rollins go up against each to determine who will face Ambrose at Battleground, match ends in a double count out, Ambrose says I'll take you both on, Shane O Mac cosigns, then breaking news of Reigns' suspension-you can't make this shit up ☺️

Obviously from previous posts I'm not a RR fan. Comparatively happy to see Ambrose get the belt.
