I gotta agree with Dave and John here....
If you look back at what and who came outta the MD days under Dave and John and the team under them...
Some of the great names that came from Dave and MD were
Evan Centopani
Guy Cisternino
PJ Braun
Kenny Wallach
Greg Valentino
Derek Anthony
and more......
ADMAN Ginsberg was a HUGE Downfall on MD and Steve allowed him to mind screw him into Dave and John's departure. ( And no I am not gonna wear my T-Shirt = )
Fast Forward to today and the industry and MD.....
All the NO-NAME guys still posting on MD are now mods and admins acting as if they are GURU's and somebody special whom created that site. Its sad after the years of sleepless nights on so many others efforts MD is just a dumping ground for yesterday's news

I worked in the cubicle next to Adam Ginsberg and have to disagree with you on this (but not the other points, which I totally agree with).
I know that Dave and John have a negative opinion of Adam and I didn't work there when they did. So perhaps their reasons are valid. But while I was there from 2013-2014 (yeah, I know. I wore out my welcome fast by not being one of Blechy's 'yes' men), Adam and I worked excellent together with the advertisers with shit that these guys expect nowadays in the form of free added value. I also worked great together with Angela, who has been there forever and is still there selling ads.
Adam worked there in two different stints for 12 years or so total and he and I not only got along for work-related shit, but on a personal level, as well. We're still friends and speak from time-to-time. I wanted to bring him on board with my magazine but could only offer him a high commission and not a steady salary. Such is life in the small business world.
Blechman fired Adam at a very bad time in his personal life which I won't get into because it's not my business to talk about it. But I was the only guy with the balls to speak up about it and it appeared to me to be spearhead by 'the Queen.'
Adam's contention was the same as mine at the time - Blechy fucked himself by launching a supplement company and overloading the magazines, websites and social media pages with plugs for his line. Even to the extent of using cover lines about it.
What do you think the paid advertisers (the vast majority being fellow supplement companies) felt about this? They made their displeasures heard to Adam and others at the company about all of this.
Compare the amount of companies who advertised with them before Blechman's supplements came out to now and it's blatantly obvious. When Adam was fired, he had just signed a new deal with a company for a huge amount across the MD and FitnessRX for Men platforms.
And then also compare the ads from Adam's tenure to now and the result is the same. It wasn't Adam at all; it was Blechy.
