Waffle Wisdom
Had to post this one. My all time, long time favorite base recipe for protein waffles.
Also used vanilla, butter and maple extracts as well as cinnamon and stevia not pictured. Amounts used not given as what I use may vary for you you need/would use. Ingredients remain the same regardless. Love me some waffles!

For those totally unfamiliar with making pancakes...
(Simply substitute these ingredients with Joshua's.)
Making Pancakes
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Prep: 5 minutes
Cook: 10 minutes
Ready In: 15 minutes
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- Make a well in the center, and pour in milk, egg and oil. Mix until smooth.
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat.
- Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake.
- Brown on both sides and serve hot.

Making Waffles
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 3/4 cups milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon white sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Note: You can keep the batter covered in the fridge for up to a week. Just be sure to whisk well before using again. You may also use whole wheat flour for this recipe.
Prep: 5 minutes
Cook: 15 minutes
Ready In: 20 minutes
- Preheat waffle iron.
- Beat eggs in large bowl with hand beater until fluffy.
- Beat in flour, milk, vegetable oil, sugar, baking powder, salt and vanilla, just until smooth.
- Spray preheated waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray.
- Pour mix onto hot waffle iron.
- Cook until golden brown. Serve hot.

This is the best thing I've found. Good for waffles or flapjacks. Been enjoying these for a few years.
