Look when Dave was there. MD was Muscular development . How many editors co editors replacements have they gone through ? How's that worked out ? Um. 500 pages to 150. It's all fine as we know many many magazines have crashed and burned. See the irony here is Bleckmin sent me a text " we growing. We are moving ahead. Why cut back". Well since then everything has been cut back. There is no crime in pointing it out. I actually like David Baye by way. I think he seems to be a good guy and I like his play by play but I can guarantee you Bleckmin is feeding him the " you have a career here at mortuary development" that's what Steve does. He cajoles people. He makes promises. People try to be very very loyal to him until the axe falls . I wish people like David the very best. Same for Ron Harris ( not so much NyQuil Shawn ) but the fact here is MD is on fire and not in a good way and it's only time before they fold . If they don't then it's simply because the owner will out of hubris write a check monthly to keep it going. Let's revisit this in 24 months I may be wrong but as a magazine with nothing " distinctive" to offer , it looks like it's run out of gas. Why would I fork over or anyone 7 bucks for that when you can google " Phil Heath " and read everything you need to know about the 5 x mr 0. Md online has now set out to try to copy " original programming " hmm

I think the funniest propaganda they're still trying to pass off is the fact that the reason they fired John and I is that we "stole". What did we steal? I should sue them for slander. John and I gave our lifeblood to MD and Blechman's ego got the best of him and then he made the worst decision of his life.... and it's still burning him! I actually like Steve and would have no problem sitting down and having dinner with him. What I don't like is the fact that he's screwing over the workforce and not paying people. And then trying to vilify those same people.. making it look like they did something wrong.

All i know is that the people who post here are cooler.....alot of assholes on that forum...some of the cooler people post on both but some of the exclusive MD posters have a bad energy. Just an observation. Energy there has gotten more negative over the years. Not one person I speak to who either has worked there or does work there has ever told me anything positive about it in a private conversation.

I picked one up recently, but haven't read it. An impulse purchase based on the cover. It's pathetic how slim they are now. Under Dave's and John's tenure the magazine was an f'ing phone book. Now it's a pamphlet at best. What, twelve pages and half of those are advertisements. :-(
