Chasing DLB
❤️ The title is a bit of a misnomer because I don't compete in physique but I do Crossfit sometimes and I do like to bodybuild and move heavy weight. I had the pleasure of training with DLB and Miranda Oldroyd at the Warhouse Gym recently and was so relieved to find a couple of women on top of their sport who train happy; and write their own rules.
I'm 5'3" and give or take 135#
So the same stats as DLB. Shorter than Miranda by a few inches though.
Bench: 170#
Squat: 275#
Clean & Jerk: 190#
Snatch: I haven't maxed it in a year or so... TBD
Strict Press: 120#
Jerk: 190#
Push Press: TBD
Dealdlift: 275# (a little embarrassing but it's my least favorite lift)
I'm doing a comp in August and train about 5 days a week. I do Crossfit Invictus programming out of San Diego, CA
I follow Renissance Periodization Nutrition. (For about 2 months now and have PR'd every single lift.)
I have been an ISSA Personal Trainer since 2006, competed briefly in figure (2 shows). I am a level 2 Certified Crossfit Coach, and a Surgical Trauma Nurse.
I'm just logging for some motivation, but it's just me, chasing DLB.Last edited by DoubleyaG; 06-13-2016 at 01:11 AM.

Video of the Bench.
I'm not a powerlifter so my form is very average.

Nice job on the bench PR. Great form. Maybe a bit more arch, it always helped my bench.

Long time no update. I do track most of my workouts elsewhere and my macros. I'll try to post more because I may have to graciously ask from some diet help. I would like to lose a little weight without losing strength but I'll address that later.

I've done two comps in the pro division competing against some really experienced women.
I took 7th in the Pro division at the WY Open and 3rd Place at the Colorado Open yesterday!!!!
I also attended the Crossfit Games and made sure to say hello to Mark Smelly Bell!
Currently I'm sitting in some normatech squeezers getting ready for a hard week of training ahead
Tossing around the idea of going to Vegas for the Olympia!

A couple photos from the WY Open
It was a two day competition. 6 different workouts and the woman with the best average won.
