Energy drinks are not dangerous. Not at all. They are just soda with 30% more caffeine. They have less caffeine than coffee per ounce. If a person decides to drink a gallon of coffee and dies, you cant say that coffee is dangerous.
Not to mention, you would literally have to drink 5 red bulls or 3 monsters in one shot to get as much stims as the average pre workout product today and that is only ONE serving of these products. There are plenty of pre workout products out there with 400 or more mg of caffeine per serving. A Red Bull has 80mg and a monster has 140mg.
We have idiots like Rich Piana telling his following of 1.3 million brain dead 18 year old kids that he drinks 1500mg of caffeine before a workout and people are saying energy drinks that have 100mg of are dangerous? LOLOL

I tried to listen to the radio show but I am on a work trip to Barcelona and the internet connection I have is carp.
I have not heard Dave and Chris' retort but I did hear what Dexter had to say. I like the radio show and feel lucky that such knowedgable guys are making the effort to take the time to put forword their views. I must say though that I think their is a grain of truth in what Dexter is complaining about. There is favouritism to certain bodybuilders on the show I feel. Chris has great stories but he doesn't divulge as much about his methods as Dave imo. I personally filter out the sychophantic stuff because the show is that good and its worth it.
John R has nothing to sell and is just shooting it as he sees it without the brakes on. I pretty much disagree with everything he says on politics but he is very entertaining..... a breath of fresh air.

Just a thought on Dexter. Him and Dennis James are really close friends. They talk almost daily. I'm sure that also has something to do with Dexter's views of RxMuscle.

Dex seems like a moody dude. He went to Lee Priest back in the day asking about NABBA because he was not placing any higher than 4th at the Olympia, he protested the Olympia one year because of that, and on a couple occasions he claimed that he was never doing the O again, all pissy, despite placing in the top 5 every single year.
Also, if you ask people who have met him, half say he is a royal prick and half say he is super cool. A very well known IFBB Pro (some rough neck guy) told me to my face that the reason he is nice to all his fans every time is because he never wants to make a fan feel how Dexter made him feel when he met him in his younger years. Lastly, he defends his personality in 90% of his interviews "people think I'm like XYX, but I'm really not". If you were really such a cool chill dude, I really dont think those kind of comments would be necessary.

That all sounds very Dexter.
It's odd, him and Phil spend an incredible amount of time defending themselves and referring to their "haters".
So in 2002 he finished 4th, in 2003 he finished 3rd, then 4th again in 2004 when Gustavo Badell moved ahead. In 2005 he won the Arnold and sat out the Olympia. Came back in 2006 and finished 4th again. This time Victor was between him and the Ronnie/Jay juggernaut. Bet he's glad he stuck with the IFBB. If you like cars and bling and you're a bodybuilder averaging 4th place at Mr. Olympia contests in the Ronnie/Jay era you should probably cheer the F up. If there was ever a bodybuilder that never placed lower than he should have it's Dexter Jackson. He's basically been treated like royalty for 15 years. And he's had pretty good sponsorship with MuscleTech and Optimum Nutrition along the way.
At this point I'm surprised he'd even care about what his own mama had to say.
