How accurate are those net worth estimators? It's a bit like those websites that post the steroid stacks of top bodybuilders, all guesswork by some dweeb behind a computer is my estimation.
A lot of the richest people in the world never appear on rich lists.

The football player has to be worth way more than the BB
Current Contract. Jay Cutler signed a 7 year, $126,700,000 contract with the Chicago Bears, including $54,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $18,100,000. In 2016, Cutler will earn a base salary of $16,000,000. Cutler has a cap hit of $17,000,000 while his dead money value is $19,000,000.

What he might get doesn't count. He is only guaranteed 54 mil over the next 7 years, along with a base salary if 16 mil. That is like 24 mil a year if I am deciphering that horse shit correctly. After taxes, that would be roughly 18 mil a year. Net worth is what you actually have to your name. Jay the BB could be earning 18 mil a year for sure.

Money is great but, let's see which Jay Cutler can remember his own name in 20 years.
