Default Weird Exercises That You Do

I do this half press half extension thing for my triceps (a few years ago I heard they were called JM Presses) . This shattered my joy that I had invented a fantastic exercise but anyway , it's a great movement .

what weird , obscure or obsolete exercises do you use that we may not be aware of or have forgotten about?

Nordics, aka the bastard child of the glute-ham raise. Secure feet under something heavy with a pad under the knees, glute-ham raise off the floor. I get some funny looks but I couldn't care less, chit works. No gym I've trained at regularly has a glute-ham raise so I'm forced to find work-arounds. Whenever I take them out of my routine I notice my hams (and my squats and deads) get weak.

I do, what I call, a "baton extension" for the brachioradialis of the forearm; the Phil Heath muscle.
I stand with the arms at my sides, holding the center of a 20-30lb barbell in one hand, angle the barbell so that it is pointed slightly inward (towards your body) flex the brachioradialis to bring the weight forward then extend the weight in a rearward movement. I'll do 4 sets of 15-20 and that muscle gets super-pumped.
I call it "baton extensions" because it looks like some type of baton training movement. This is the only movement I've found to specifically target that area.

The physical therapist showed me a number of stretching movements. This is the weirdest one for me.

    Chin tuck

    1. Sit or stand with your back and head leaning against the wall for good posture.
    2. Tuck your chin in and try to flatten the back of your neck against the wall (see Figure 2).
    3. Return to the starting position.
    4. Repeat 10 times.

Yes. Gotta go slow as to not overextend and to keep the focus on that one muscle. Finding the grip angle is the most important part to isolation. Keep the grip tight and movement small to reduce other muscles coming into play.

I think so too. There are millions of people suffering from mental health issues. We don't just notice it.
