Improving IBS with a Low FODMAP Diet
IBS and other general digestive disorders vary quite a bit from person to person. However, I have found in MOST people with general IBS that a diet lower in FODMAPS helps quite a bit as an initial step.
Its by no means the only step but its a good place to start!

here's an excellent example of how to break down what could or could not be helping/hurting on the FODMAP scale-a lot of these in the "bad" category I have had eliminated or rarely eat and it has made a world of difference-but conversely, there are things in the "good" category that I absolutely cannot have-it's all trial and error but consistently is the true keyword once you have some patterns established:
