This brings up an interesting point.
I've been listening to bodybuilding radio/podcasts since about 08 and have been following bodybuilding contests since 03. I listen to this stuff weekly and know of all the guys speaking both past and present. The ones still going stay relevant and I'd assume most of the listeners know who they are.
Are women as interested to hear other women in the industry speak? Would they debate physiques like Chris or Dave or Bob Chic or Solemen can? What would they talk about? I'm sure some guys would be interested in listening, and some women too. But would it be enough listeners to get sponsors and advertisers? Bikini and figure womens physique are what's popular now among women but would the competitors actually tune in and listen like we do with Dave and Chris?
I might be TOTALLY stereotyping but it seems it's more important for that new generation of women to simply get a coach and post on instagram then actually be involved in it to the point where they'd actually listen (or watch) to a show

I would consider doing it with Ariella. She's a cool chick.

Interesting points..... from what I've seen (which also may be stereotyping), women are less likely to be critical of one another, nor take criticism from others... even on this board, there were rules as to what you could and could not say in the women's forums....
There is very little critical analysis during televised or streamed shows... the last person who I thought gave HONEST assessments of women's physiques was Carla Dunlap from the Ms. O shows in the 90's on ESPN. If she saw flaws, she'd called them out.
Lenda Murray and Iris may have had some exchanges in print, but it pales in comparison to what men do to each other. All is fair game on the men's side, which creates controversy, which creates interesting media.... even if you got hosts who were willing to go there, would women listen because it would be deemed offensive to a group who may already feel marginalized in the industry.

I'll critique a bitch
no but seriously, I do think it's more difficult for most females to take criticism, even when constructive-could be an opportunity to change that, even if it is on the smaller level of a physique related online radio show
