I don't doubt it was harder, but I recall a lot of guys selling their own videos... not necessarily the best quality, but vids nonetheless, along with autographed pictures at many a show. Dave has always been forward thinking, so I would have thought this would have been something he would have invested in, even if shot with an 8mm or Video-C camcorder.
Too bad none of those training sessions were taped... from what you're saying, they would have been fun to watch.

I don't see 300lbs of shredded mass. There's probably 50lbs of god knows what in that torso. The chest and limbs aren't any better than 230lbs bodybuilders of the past. This is symbolic of modern bodybuilding - chasing scale weight under the delusional that it's quality hard muscle when the reality is its mostly midsection growth.
